I half expected this to be a so-so album, but I like David Archuleta so I decided to give it a chance, and WOW! It's not at all the standard drab music that I'm used to hearing from the Idol contestants debut albums. It's actually really good music!! He has a really good upbeat sound that is very enjoyable and engaging.
Also, if you are expecting that this is teen pop-star type music, it's not so much. The only songs that remind me of those are "Crush", "A Little Too Not Over You". ... Read More

I purchased this CD for my daughter for Christmas. She wanted it very badly. Over the break she was playing it on the stereo and I was shocked. I loved it!! I can't believe I love one of HER CD's! I now listen to it myself. It's one of my favorite CD's at this time! He didn't need to win, he's going to make it with his amazing voice anyway!

david has so much more talent than demonstrated on this c.d.
i was a bit dissapointed.
i feel half of his talent becomes apparant when one sees him perform on stage. he has a great deal of appeal and charisma.
keep striving david...you are indeed a golden child.

I watched american idol and David Archuleta never did it for me, I was a David cook fan and to me Archuleta was boring but my mum loved him so I bought the cd for her for christmas and when it arrived I thought I would listen to it so I copied it on to my hard drive so I could erase it if it really sucked but to my surprise I loved it and I had to buy a copy for myself, it hardly sounds like the boring songs he sang on american idol and theres some up tempo ones too which is great.
