I've used this system for more than 18 months and it has performed flawlessly. I've had no difficulty establishing and maintaining clear connections up to 150 feet, I haven't tried from a greater distance. Battery life between charges has been much better than previous cordless sets. The batteries are Ni-Mh AAA which means replacements will be easy to find locally at reasonable prices, my previous cordless models all required proprietary batteries. I have had this Panasonic cordless phone for more than a year now. It works great. The sound quality is very good and it has some great features too.

Caller ID:
I love the caller ID where it matches the phone number against the stored number in the phonebook.

Phonebook:
The phonebook feature is good. I am no longer looking for phone numbers from my cellphone or internet directories. I have stored all the numbers that I need.

You should always be questioning whether or not it is in working shape. But this phone so far has worked out very well. No defects are noted and I am satisfied with the results.
