We've had this little drive for about 2 years now and it has withstood all kinds of abuse. It works just fine going between my macintosh laptop and my husband's desktop windows. Transfer rates are pretty quick, too. It's even been accidentally sent through the washing machine and came out just fine. For the price and size, I'd say it's worth it.

The reason I am so excited about it is I just sent it through the wash, complete cycle, then through the dryer, because I left it in my pants pocket. I remembered maybe 4 or 5 hours after the laundry was done, and I immediately groaned and found it right where I had left it, right in the pocket. Everyone knows how these things work by now and what a useful gadget a flash drive is, but what you might not know is how sturdy at least this one is. I just managed to put my Kingston Data Traveler through a wash cycle and not one, but two drier cycles and my computer is still able to read the data.
